Currently I am a first-year Doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Felician University.
I have worked in different areas of psychology including organizational, education and clinical psychology. Most of my experience in the United States has been in the work with culturally diverse population, especially Latinx, with focus onhigh-risk children and families with history of substance abuse and / or mental illness, and domestic violence. Nicole Luthcke, MS, LAC, CRC, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology Drew University and a Master’s degree in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Counseling from Rutger’s University. She has held a variety of counseling roles, including experience in mental health and symptom treatment, case management, and vocational or career counseling.
Nicole has worked with youth ages 14 to older adults in both individual and group settings. She uses holistic approach to therapy, incorporating techniques such as CBT, positive psychology, and mindfulness with emphasis on values, wellness, and strengths. Nicole is skilled in assisting individuals cope with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mood disorders as well as challenges that come with low self-esteem, work concerns, relationship issues, and trauma. Nicole’s goal is to provide support through life’s difficulties as an ally, helping to develop coping skills, emotional awareness, and rational thinking in a judgement free space.
